Lessons in Success: #19 Accountability and Tracking your Goals

butterflyonfern.jpg

Today, my theme for you to consider is Accountability.

I've been going to a personal coach, Rob Seidenspinner of Sage Circle Coaching, for a while now, and the one thing that I think has been the most beneficial for me in terms of my personal and professional development has been the opportunity, week after week, to check in and make sure that I am making progress towards my goals.

Dreams Come True

I do believe that when you have a dream, and it sustains you and nurtures you, from childhood onwards, then that dream is what you are meant to be doing in your precious time on the planet.

Here are some stories of people achieving their dream. Notice the importance of developing a dream, visualizing it, and believing it. In most cases, these people nurtured their dreams, and believed in the power of their dreams so much, that when opportunities came their way, they were physically, mentally, and spiritually ready to go forward.

Do Dreams Come True?

I’m collecting stories of dreams that really do come true: http://asuccessfulwoman.com/?q=node/10

In all of these stories, I see common threads, including the use of:
+ Vision boards (to visualize what the dream is)
+ Hard work (constantly thinking of new ways to participate and be effective)
+ Dedication (90% of success is showing up)
