A Timepiece to Keep You on Track

Bulova Watch

It's February, and most of us are doing our best to keep up with resolutions. One of my resolutions is to show up- on time, focused, and prepared.

If I'm doing something (playing with my kids, talking with a client, walking) I aspire to be fully present to the moment -- instead of feeling scattered, unclear, or charging from one frantic thought to another.

An adequate timepiece comes in handy!

Most people over the age of 50 wear wristwatches (it's one of the ways I estimate someone's age), whereas people in the Gen X/Millennial cohorts don't - these folks get the time from the computer, the digital clock on the phone, the clock tower on campus, the flashing microwave display, or any other of the hundreds of timepieces around us.

However, for classic style - and to always be aware of the time and date - an watch works nicely. The folks at WristZoneWatches invited me to check out their online store, which includes Casio, Citizen Eco-Drive, the Bulova automatic watch, Tag Heuer, and Seiko. There's good variety, including alarm, digital, chronograph, strap, and titanium watches.

If you're like me -- doing the best you can with what you've got -- then hang in there, sister! And if you require that extra boost, a wristwatch helps you keep on track with your schedule.
