"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity...

...It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow."

- Melodie Beattie

The best way that we achieve success is by expressing true gratitude for our circumstances, our situations, and our abilities.

Gratitude brings us to a state of grace. When we are grateful for all around us, including the sun that warms us, our shelter, our relationships, the flowers and trees, the animals, the food and drink that sustain our bodies, the moment we wake up and the moment we go to sleep, we live in a perpetual state of wonderment and thankfulness.

Gratitude is one of the best ways that we show thanks to the world around us, and "an attitude of gratitude" turns everything into a miracle: gratitude is the best way to express that which lies deep in our hearts.

You have had difficult times in your life, perhaps times when you felt you failed or other people failed you. You might be carrying a secret that you think is too painful for anyone else to know. You might not believe that you are worthy of anything, much less love, acceptance, peacefulness, and forgiveness. You might be tired, or depressed, or you might be clouded by anger or even hatred.

One way to fill these hidden, torn places in our hearts is to practice gratitude, every day, simply for each breath.

We breathe in gratitude. We breathe out gratitude.

We breathe in gratitude. We breathe out gratitude.

We breathe in gratitude. We breathe out gratitude.

We are grateful for each day that we have on the planet. We are grateful for every meal. We are grateful for every time we see our loved ones.

I promise you that when you practice this attitude mindfully, your entire perspective will change and will bring you to an elevated sense of wellbeing. With gratitude, each of us attains a greater ability to share our gifts and talents for the greater good and for the betterment of our world.

Isn't that's a great way to reach new levels of success?

What are you grateful for?
