Prosper is a way to borrow and lend money within a supportive group of people. Any adult US resident may create a listing for a loan on Prosper. After passing identity and fraud checks, borrowers may request unsecured loans from $1,000 to $25,000 at rates they select. Any adult US resident may lend money to others on Prosper at rates they select.
