Focusing your Energies: Tip #16 Practice Being Selective
We’re on day 16 of a thirty-day series on increasing our skills to focus our energies towards building more success.
Today, I’d like you to start being selective.
This means making choices: you have a choice from the moment you wake up until the moment you go to sleep.
Select an option that makes sense to you and supports you in your overall purpose in life.
- This might mean selecting one positive and energetic person to talk to.
- This might mean choosing one type of food that brings you health and heartiness.
- This might mean discerning between two choices for the day’s activities.
When you are selective about the activities and behaviors that you engage in, you put your energies towards selecting the choices that allow you to be more of who you want to be, and you narrow your focus towards that goal, that dream, or that passion.
People who are selective about their time make choices that support their chosen option.
Where is an option that you will practice being more selective today?
