Focusing your Energies: Tip #19 Accountability and your Coach
We’re on number 19 within a set of thirty on increasing our skills to focus our energies towards our increasing success.
Today, my theme for you to consider is Accountability.
I’ve been going to a personal coach, Rob Seidenspinner of Sage Circle Coaching, for almost a year, and the one thing that I think has been the most beneficial for me in terms of my development has been the opportunity, week after week, to check in and make sure that I am making progress towards my goals.
If I say, “I’m going to do X” and I don’t have anyone to follow up with, the probability is high that “X” won’t happen.
If I say, “I’m going to do Y” and Rob asks, “how many? how much? when? why? how does that make you feel?” and then 7 days later he follows up and asks, “so how was it?” then I have a much higher probability of going forward with “Y”.
So I recommend you get together with a personal coach, (Rob is at (925) 766-5987) and schedule some time for you to focus on your personal growth and development.
The benefits I’ve seen are as follows:

1) An increase in the quality and types of referrals who we serve in my business
2) Substantive advances towards some overall life goals of mine
3) A big jump in personal net worth and asset acquisition
4) More thinking about my own self-directed limitations
5) An introduction and acknowledgement of my personal “gremlin” who always wants to bring me backwards when I am moving forwards.
I encourage you to find a coach and start making measurable progress in supporting your highest, most activated, and most real self.

I agree with the accountability thing 100%! For me, I do that by posting my goals on www.goalposting.net
