TUT on Delightful Wonderful Things: What I’ve Hand-picked for you
Every few days, I receive a heartwarming note in my e-mail box, directly to me, with an inspirational message that always lifts me up (that’s saying a lot because my box catches at least 75 emails a day).
I’m particular about the listservs that I’ve signed up for and always unsubscribe if the sender’s email is overly commercial, compromises my privacy in any way, is not helpful, or does provides me with little interesting information. (Review more of my e-mail clutter tips on my 30 Days to Focusing: Unsubscribe, Spam, and Email Boxes exercise). So, I’m happy to report that the Notes from the Universe service, by The Adventurers’ Club, is a solid service, powered by Constant Contact, that you may try out and unsubscribe from at any time (I know you won’t want to unsubscribe).

TUT stands for Totally Unique Thoughts® and is the brainchild of Andy and Mike Dooley, who started designing t-shirts for their mother back in 1989 and ended up selling over a million shirts with their own designs. The brothers now do motivational speaking and sell books, as well as lead fellow adventurers on cruises and vacations.
From their website, which is all-around inspirational and not icky-sticky self-help, they remind us that “Our purpose today is what it’s always been, to use thoughts and things, to touch people and remind us all of life’s everyday magic…thoughts become things, dreams do come true, and all things remain forever possible!”
Over 130,000 “Adventurers” from 174 countries receive the TUT e-mail notice, so I think you’re in good hands.
Recent notes included:
Ask any question, just before you sleep, and it will be answered.
Actually, you can ask any question, any time you like, and you’ll be answered, but mornings your “hearing” is often best.

also:
Far be it from me, Monica, to ask about your personal life. Besides, I already know it like the back of my hand. But could you stand a bit more “bling”? A little more laughter? Some “high-fives,” “oh-yeahs,” and slow motion knuckle-to-knuckle greetings from buddies, admirers, and fans?
That’s what I’m talkin’ about.
Then let these be what you visualize. See and feel the joy. Hear the laughter. Imagine the bank accounts. And these images will literally summon the resources, ideas, hows, and circumstances that will yield such manifestations, as you move through the affairs of the world in the direction of your dreams.

When you sign up you specify your name or pseudonym, a particular goal, and how often (daily? certain days? or once a week?) you want to get notes, and that’s it. You start receiving them whenver you specified, and again, you may always “SafeUnsubscribe(TM)” whenever you want.
I leave you with my own personal note: “your dreams, aspirations, and hopes may certainly be accomplished once you tap into the enormous potential the world offers.”
