Memorable Quotes by Calvin Coolidge
“Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent
will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.
Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education
will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and
determination alone are omnipotent.”
- Calvin Coolidge 1872-1933 (13th US President)

Thanks for the inspirational quote.
I think all too often we forget that persistence is a crucial part of plotting our path to success.
Success in the early 1900s requires the same traits as they do in the late 2000s.
Success requires that we take persistent and strategic strides toward using our lives to make the greatest impact.
Thanks for the post!

Thanks for quoting Calvin Coolidge!
The full version of this quote includes another sentence: “The slogan ‘Press On,’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”
