Visionboard Process - How to Create one
Wed, 05/04/2011 - 9:13am | by monicadearI believe that everything gets built twice - first in our minds/hearts/spirits, and then second in our physical reality.
If you have a dream, a vision, or a goal, I encourage you to detail it as much as possible. Envision what that truly looks like and feels like. As you gain clarity over that idea, it inhabits more and more of your subconscious mind, and your conscious mind starts to feel incrementally more able to "step into" that reality.
We must envision our future before we inhabit that future.
Or, to look at it backwards, where you are now is a direct result of the visioning process you engaged in a few years ago.

The tools you use in your everyday life, the computer program you use to access the Internet, the food that you choose in the grocery store, the products you use in your medicine cabinet, the kitchen appliances, the vehicles you use for transportation, the bag you use to carry items from one place to another, even the music, films, or live performances that entertain you --- these all originated out of someone's vision.

We wanted to support minority-owned, woman-owned, green, progressive, organic, holistic, sustainable people.
We wanted to focus on what we did best, and find other people to help us with the rest. As the company has grown, we've learned more. Here are some of the lessons I've learned --- you can keep them in mind as you build your own business.
